Hey everyone! I'm baaaaaack! For those of you who were not fortunate to be a BITS member when I was around, do not know me, and should read this post. For those of you who do remember me... you can read it anyway. SO, I joined BITS in August, and then stopped playing when school started becasue I was really busy. However, I have my schedule under control, and am used to the big bad world of high school and rejoined. And now onto the interesting stuff. I am 14 years old, live in the United States, have been riding for half of my life, and have a grulla paint pony named Keeper. with blue eyes who is VERY fat. I kind of outgrew him, so now I ride a school horse named Moses, who is a big palomino gelding who is probably one of the best horses to ever walk this planet (he never spooks, bucks, bites, etc.) And, thats about it, and this post is getting pretty long, so I'll stop here.

Nice to meet you. I'm Jen and I joined in Sept. I own Diamond Elite Farms and focus on stockbreed horses and have a small racehorse operation going as well. Are you starting over?

Yes, I'm starting over. Its good though. My records were a mess when I first started, because I didn't keep them until a few weeks into the game. Now I have a clean slate. Very refreshing.

Welcome back! I never met you, I joined in October I'm Dana, owner of Horizon Equestrian Center (click my banner if you care to visit), a mini-barn of Camelot Canada that specializes in eventing. In RL, I own a TB whom I event What types of horses are you going to bring with you?

Oh, I forgot. I want to specialize in hunter/jumper warmbloods and maybe dabble in some dressage. I want to start a hunter/jumper association as well, if that isn't in the works. I was going to work on the with someone before I left, but I don't think it ever happened.

Cooool I found your original introduction post down the board, and you've got a *very* adorable pony! My horse Freedom is acctually half-paint, but I call him a TB because the only thing he got from the paint breeding was his color, everything else about him is very thoroughbred! Anyways, I have a soft spot for cute paints! lol.

Aw. Sounds cute! I saw a horse like that at a show doing jumpers. It was a big chesnut paint but it was built like a warmblood. I love that, because the paint coloring is my favorite, but I also love warmbloods.

Yeah, me too! I looove the eye-catching paint color. It really stands out in a warm-up ring full of bays! (not that I don't love bays... there's just a lot of them, lol!)

I love it too. Especially hunters, where everyone has a bay or a chesnut, and then I'm riding around a little pinto pony, but then he gets in there and jumps and he has PERFECT knees. (Well, not anymore, but when I was short enough to ride him).

Hey Casey, welcome back! =D I believe Rainbow is still working on the Hunter/Jumper Association, so you'll want to talk to her about that

Welcome back, Casey!
I think Rainbow needs lots of help with the BHJA, and she'd probably be interested in it ... talk to her before she leaves for Thanksgiving!

Hey, welcome back Casey!
Lol, I would LOVE to have a co-owner for the BHJA which is, currently, um... not happening. =P So feel free to PM or email me about that whenever. Like Kristin said, I'll be gone from Tuesday till next Saturday, so... catch me before then, or email/PM me while I'm gone and I'll get back to you when I'm back... Whatever works for you! Maybe between the two of us we can get something up and running properly!
=) Once again, welcome back.

Hey, thanks everyone! About the HJA, I remember before my "little abscence" I was going to help someone with a HJA, but that was in August... so I'd be happy to help.

Yeah Casey, I went to a 4-H hunters show with Freedom back in June I am so not a hunter lol. I think hunters are great riders and all, but it's definately not for me... anyways, luckily the judge was really favoring the paints! There was me on my... erm... "ground-covering" thoroughbred paint, and then another girl with a fancy hunter paint pony, and in every flat class, she won and I was second! I believe she placed highly in the over fences, too, but Freedom will probably never do too well in hunter over fences classes or hunter hack because he's got that eventer's pace, too quick to be beautiful in the hunters world!

Great riders in certain situations... like a hunter show ring...
And I should stop there, because I know we've got hunters in this game! lol. Yes, definately not for me...

Haha, that was a nice, subtle comment Maya ;D I liked it. And pintos definatly do stand out, but it seems like they've become such a fad in the eventing world. I don't know, is it like that in your area Dana? I've just noticed over the past few years there've been more and more of them at events. Not to say that I wouldn't love to have one hehe ;D
Anyways, I wasn't here when you joined before, so I'll introduce myself. I'm Christie, and I'm along the same lines as Dana -- working on my mini-barn, specialize in eventers, and own a TB eventer in RL. Glad to have you back!

Naw, there's not too many pinto-colored eventers around here. Especially not once you move up the levels Although there are a few of those cute lil stocky-type paints in Beginner Novice and Novice! I love being in that warm-up ring full of bays, haha. I don't think I've ever been to a show where someone hasn't commented on his color, and I love it! lol

LOL, be careful I'm a hunter rider! Although, I must agree that some hunter riders should not be in the show ring, much less on a horse at all.

Nah, TB and Warmblood pinto crosses are all the rage down here -- I know at least four or five just off the top of my head, one who's doing Intermediate. And then yeah, there's the cute little pinto ponies and whatnot. The lady who's barn I'm at down here at college actually was short listed for the Olympics years ago on a little paint cross He's old and retired to pasture now, but she has some pretty sweet pics of them doing Rolex & similar events in her office. .Christie.
