Ok, just a quick couple of questions here....
First, I've noticed when entering shows some people use a rider whose name has a star next to it, is this a made up rider? I'm just trying to figure this out because if so I'd use my husband as a second rider for my horses, lol.
Next, when it comes to entering classes is there a limit to how many of your horses can be entered in the same class? I'm more talking about classes where only one competitor is in the ring at a time, reining, cutting, etc., would I individually be allowed to show say 2 horses in the same reining class?
Edited to add: Ok, another question I've come up with as I've been looking through things... not necessarily show related..... for registering with the BSBA, is the fee per horse, or per owner? It didn't seem to specify.
Thanks in advance =)

Yep, the * is a made-up rider. =) AND, unless there is a specific limit specified (sometimes it will say that one rider can't show more than three horses per class, or something), no, we don't put a limit on how many horses you can show per class. Obviously for a hunter flat class or something, one rider would only be able to show one horse, since all the horses are in the ring at once lol. Other than that, no.
And I'm afraid I can't answer your last question... that's something you'll have to direct to Gwen. =)

Thank you Rainbow, I had pretty much figured that was the case with both, but I did want to make clear on that before I start entering my horses in shows, lol.
I guess I'll get a hold on Gwen with that then =)

There really wouldn't be a problem with you showing more than one horse in say reining or cutting, but you could not show more than one horse in any halter class or any class that requires rail work.
For the BSBA, you have to pay a $10.00 office fee/class to Jen and $15.00/class. It says that on the bill. You also have to register horses - $100.00/horse for a year or $500.00/lifetime. Go to the new webpage posted under the BSBA showbill, not the old one because Jen changed a lot of things.
For the BSBR it is $25.00 to register each horse.
I hope that makes it clearer.

Thanks Gwen. Yes the registration fees are per horse, it was too confusing and a lot more work for entrants to register a new rider every time. Also, all checks must be sent to the BSBA not Jen (me). I think I am going to update the freewbs homepage with a link to the new site to avoid confusion until Maya gets a minute to change the links.

Jen, great idea. Yeah, that's gotta be confusing for a new member.

Ok I am reminded of why I left freewebs all together, the site is experiencing difficulties! It may take me a minute to update the homepage.
