(Maiden Hurdle)
Purse $15,000. Hurdle. For Maidens, Four Years Old and Upward.
Four-year-olds, 144 lbs.; older, 154 lbs. Entry fee $75; $75 additional if
not scratched on time Wednesday; with $150 additional to start.
Two Miles and One Furlong over National Fences.
SECOND RACE
(Maiden Hurdle)
Purse $10,000. Hurdle. For Maidens, Four Years Old and Upward.
Four-year-olds, 146 lbs.; older, 156 lbs. Entry fee $50; $50 additional if
not scratched on time Wednesday; with $100 additional to start.
Two Miles and One Furlong over National Fences.
THIRD RACE
(Conditioned Hurdle)
Purse $10,000. Hurdle. For Four-Year-Olds and Upward which have
never won two races. Four-year-olds, 146 lbs.; older, 156 lbs. Non-winners in
2007, allowed 4 lbs.; since September 1, 8 lbs.; in 2006-2007, 12 lbs.
Entry fee $50; $50 additional if not scratched on time Wednesday; with
$100 additional to start.

FOURTH RACE 22
THE SANDHILLS CUP
(Allowance Hurdle)
Purse $25,000. Hurdle. For Four-Year-Olds and Upward which
have never won a race, other than maiden, claiming or starter, or
two races. Four-year-olds, 146 lbs.; older, 156 lbs. Non-winners in
2007, allowed 4 lbs.; since September 1, 2006, 8 lbs.; in 2006-2007, 12
lbs. (Claiming races not considered in estimating allowances). Entry fee
$125; $125 additional if not scratched on time Wednesday; with $250
additional to start.
Two Miles and One Furlong over National Fences.
FIFTH RACE 23
(Training Flat)
For Three-Year-Olds and Upward. Three-year-olds, 145 lbs.; older,
155 lbs. Entry fee $50. The result of this race does not count
toward a horse’s official record. A $500 award will be given to the
owner and the trainer of the winner.
One Mile and One Half on the Turf.
