NEW RULES & ENTRY FORMAT -- READ CAREFULLY.
• Rules & Regulations:
--Horses may only enter one race PER MONTH. As in, you must choose one meet per horse, and one race per meet. No horse can enter both meets.
--Anyone entering horses, or owning horses entered by someone else must have a current BJC membership.
--Any horse entered in any race must be registered with the BJC and must have all their information up to date in the registry.
--Any horse entered in any stakes race must be in training with a certified flat racing trainer.
--Maiden Special Weights are restricted to horses who have never won a race.
--Allowances are open to all.
--Stakes are restricted to horses who have previously placed in the top 5 in a Maiden or Allowance.
--Post entries beneath this message. Emailed entries will be ignored.
• Entry Format:
Race.
Horse (BJC#) - Age- Gender - Trainer
**NEW INFORMATION REGARDING FEES**
If you wish to recieve purse money won by your horses, you must now pay entry fees, regardless of if you've purchased a membership or not. However, if you cannot afford the entry fees, you DO NOT have to pay them. If you choose not to pay them, you will simply not get any purse money your horses may be eligible for.
The money you guys get back will now be based on how many people have paid entry fees for any given race... So if 5 people enter a stakes race, and all of them pay the fee, the total purse distributed will be $5000. But, if only 3 of those people pay, the total purse will be $3000.
Additionally, any donations the BJC recieves, as well as membership, horse registration, and importation fees; will be factored into the purses of larger races, like the Breeder's Cup. If there are any questions, feel free to ask
• Fees:
