Welcome to Partner Pferd 2008, held in Leipzig, Germany (Pferd=horse in German)! The BITS Hunter/Jumper Association is proud to bring you a weekend of showjumping, dressage, and driving at the international level. The prize money totals €236 016 or $324 797. (This is where your international promotional auction dollars are going!)
Rules:
--Use your discretion when entering your horses. No horse will be able to do every event on every day.
--Showjumping events are open to any horse competing at this level with the exception of the Sprehe Feinkost Youngster Tour Final (qualifiers will be taken from the Youngster Tour Qualifying classes) and the Sparkassen Cup (horses must have placed first, second, or third in at least two other Grand Prix classes at any show in 2007).
--Dressage classes are open to any horse competing at the Grand Prix level with the exception of the Saturday Kampmann Cup. Top-placed competitors from the Volkswagen Cup on Thursday and the Grand Prix Dressage on Friday will be chosen to compete in this event.
--The SML Tour is a three-day event with three classes per day for adult amateurs and amateur owners. Of the three events per day, one is “small” with a height of 1,20m, one is “medium” with a height of 1,30m, and the final one is “large” with a height of 1,40m. Each horse may enter one competition per day, and each rider may ride no more than two horses per height category. For more information, please see www.pst-marketing.de/index_en.php?site=sml.
--For the FEI Driving… since we don’t really have any international-level driving horses, it will be open to singles of any type capable of competing in obstacle driving. Not perfectly realistic, but I wanted to hold driving.
--All horses must be stalled.
--All riders must wear a certified helmet at all times when mounted.
--Smoking on the grounds will not be tolerated, and is grounds for elimination from the competition and/or removal from the show grounds.
Fees:
$200 -- Mandatory combination stall/office fee.
$150 -- All SML Tour and Sprehe Feinkost Youngster Tour
$200 -- All other showjumping classes.
$150 -- All dressage classes.
$50 -- All driving classes
Entry Form:
Horse -- Rider -- Owner -- Full Stable Name
(i.e. Magic -- Joe -- Joe -- Bridle Creek Farm)
(Please note: Euros have been rounded to nearest whole US dollar amount. No cents.)
