Day Three: Stadium Jumping
The final trot-up took place at 8:00AM this morning, and fortunately all of the horses were accepted. After a nice long lunch break, jumping began around noon. There were quite a few shifts in the standings, as horses took down rails on some of the tougher obstacles! The course was pretty tricky, with maximum-height obstacles and challenging lines all over the place.
FINAL RESULTS
1st - Roman Holiday - Maya Kenedy - 36.4
Double-clear stadium round. Wins $1000, cooler embroidered with "Horizon Training Level Three Day /linebreak/ Roman Holiday /linebreak/ Champion," and one pair of Boogaloo Cordura Brushing Boots.
2nd - Trendsetter - Dana - 39.8
Double clear stadium round. Wins $750 and Poly pad embroidered with "Horizon Training Three Day /linebreak/ Reserve Champion /linebreak/ Trendsetter," and one pair of Boogaloo Fetlock Boots.
3rd - September Sky - Rachel Ellis* - 39.8
Knocked down one rail at fence 9c, the last element of a triple. Wins $500 and one pair of Woof Wear Sport Club Brushing Boots.
4th - Rhiannon - Pavel Karov* - 0 - 40.4
Double clear round. Wins $250 and one pair of Eskadron Pikosoft Bell Boots.
5th - Bold As Brass - Rachael - 7 - 43.4
Refusal at fence 9a, the triple, and three time penalties. Wins $100 and one pair of Eskadron Velcro Bell Boots.
6th - Flames Of Obsession - Geoff King* - 52.0
