BITS Cow Horse Association Fall Has Fallen Show
Saturday, September 20th, 2008
Held at Champion's Bid Ranch, Chisago City, Minnesota
Rules + Information
• All horses must be registered to compete.
• All horses must be UTD on vaccinations and have a negative coggins to compete.
• Open classes are open to all horses and all riders.
• Non-Pro classes are open to riders nineteen years or older who do not make money from any type of horse related service. This includes training, riding, showing, and coaching other riders.
• Youth are eighteen years and younger. They may handle stallions as long as they demonstrate the ability to do so safely.
• Novice horse classes are open to horses two years of age, as of January First of the current year. Novice horses may not cross enter into any other classes.
• Three year olds may enter Open Futurity, Limited Futurity, Non Pro Futurity, Snaffle Bit and Freestyle; based upon the riders elgibility.
• Four, Five, and Six Year Olds may enter Open Derby, Non Pro Derby, Snaffle Bit (Excluding Six Year Olds), and Freestyle; based upon the riders elgibility.
• In reining, aged horses (seven years and older) may enter Open, Non Pro, Youth, and Freestyle, based upon the riders eligibility.
• In Cutting, aged horses (seven years or older) not competing in novice horse or rider may enter Open, Non Pro, and Youth based upon the riders eligibility.
• Novice riders may not cross enter into any other class.
• Limited classes are open to any rider who has less than $15,000 in lifetime earnings from the BITS Cow Horse Association sancutioned shows.
• Goat Tying is open to all ages; please look at the age breakdown when entering. Ages are figured from January First of the current year.
• Team Roping is open to teams of two, made up of a heeler and a header.
Fees
$20 - Reining Classes
$50 - Cutting, Working Cow Horse and Roping Classes (Cattle)
$15 - Goat Tying Classes
$2 - Stall Fee, not required. You clean.
