Any of you stock horse owner people can answer this =P What kinds of disciplines does an all around horse enter? I have quite a few of them in the rescue, and I don't really know where to enter who. Thanks in advance

My all arounders are usually youth horses that compete in general open classes at the local level. Like, for example, I may show a horse in western pleasure, western trail, horsemanship, and possibly showmanship. Some may do open WP and reining.

I enter my guys in everything from Western and English Pleasure/Equitation, Showmanship, Trail, and the stock horse events to lower level Dressage (like training and first level) and some low level jumping.

I'll say this now: My "All Around" horses are not aimed at the World level shows. I prefer to find the local leveled shows to show them in, especially if I have placed a youth rider with them.
