2007 World Championship Youth Show

Here is a breakdown as to how the results work:
The results follow the show schedule posted on the BSBA website. You will find times and locations of the classes throughout the results.

For each class results you will find the following:
- Class Number & Name (the letter A, B, or C indicates the tie-breaking judge randomly selected before the show)
- TOP TEN (these are the overall winners of the class with the combined 3 judges scores)
- Judge A placings
- Judge B placings
- Judge C placings

The classes are scored based on the following:
- Each judge places the class up to 15 placings, there is a numerical scores associated with each placing. The scores for each judge are then added up for a total value and the highest scoring wins and only the top ten scores will be placed overall for the class. This is following how the RL app nationals and worlds are placed so it is very realistic. I am keeping track of points for the top ten placing for awards for the show such as youth/NP high point....

Example: 1st, 5th, 7th = 120 + 66 + 45 = 231 overall

Scores Chart:
1st = 120
2nd = 105
3rd = 91
4th = 78
5th = 66
6th = 55
7th = 45
8th = 36
9th = 28
10th - 21
11th = 15
12th = 10
13th = 6
14th = 3
15th = 1

I hope this helps you understand what I did to get the overall placings. I have the scores in an excel documaent and will post them later on the website, but for now I will post the overalls and each judges placings.


Oh and I forgot to get the total entries for each class posted by the class titles. Sorry, but for days 1 & 2 there are always less than 15 entries and you can see the # of entries if you look at what each judge places to, I think the most in a class for the 1st couple days is 12. I will fix this with the rest of the results.
