Rules/Guidelines
»Horses must be registered with the BSHA in order to compete.
»Prospect classes are to be entered by horses age three and younger (born in 2006 and later) only.
»Any disrespect to the grounds or staff will result in dismissal from the show.
»Cross-entering is permitted in Dressage classes only. Horses may enter up to two regular tests of consecutive difficulty in addition to one Freestyle test.
»For Eventing, Combined Driving, and Jumping, only one class per horse may be entered.
»Stabling on-site at the BHRC is highly recommended, however not required.
»Entries must be posted in the correct format with a check under the corresponding thread on the BITS Message Board. No e-mailed entries will be accepted.
»Jumper levels run according to BHJA heights:
Level 1 Fences 2'9"-3' in height spreads 3'-3'6" (Triple bars/liverpools to 4')
Level 2 Fences 3'-3'3" in height spreads 3'3"-3'9" (Triple bars/liverpools to 4'3")
Level 3 Fences 3'3"-3'6" in height spreads 3'6"-4' (Triple bars/liverpools to 4'6")
Level 4 Fences 3'6"-3'9" in height spreads 3'9"-4'3" (Triple bars to 4'9", water to 8')
Level 5 Fences 3'9"-4' in height spreads 4'-4'6" (Triple bars to 5', water to 9')
Level 6 Fences 4'-4'3" in height spreads 4'-4'9" (Triple bars to 5'3" water to 10')
Level 7 Fences 4'3"-4'6" in height spreads 4'6"-5' (Triple bars to 5'6" water to 11')
