BSBR 2009 Show List
Show Rules and Guidelines:
1. No horse should be used in more classes than they are capable of.
2. No smoking on the grounds and no drinking on the grounds. You WILL be asked to leave.
3. Absolutely no pets.
4. Walk/Trot classes may be entered by only walk/trot horses/riders. These horses/riders may not compete in walk/trot/canter classes.
5. Horses must be 3 years old to show under saddle
6. Horses must be 4 years old to show over fences.
7. Jr. horse classes are open only to horses under age 6.
8. Sr. horse classes are open to horses 6 and up.
9. Horses DO NOT need to be registered with the BSBR to compete currently.
10. Horses MUST be paints, quarter horses, or appaloosas that would be registerable with the BSBR to compete, however.
Entry Fees – there is a new set of entry fee rules this year. You pay one fee up front at the start of the show season or you pay per month. It is your choice, but it will be easier to estimate how much you own.
Entering up to 5 horses - $250.00/show or $1,300.00/Show season
Entering up to 20 horses - $1,000/show, $5,000/show season
Entering up to 30 horses - $1,300/show, $5,500/show season
Entering up to 40 horses - $1500/show, $6,000/show season
Entering 50 or more horses - $2,000/show, $8,000/show season
Please send your checks payable to the BSBR account. If your entries change and your horse number entries increase, please adjust your payments accordingly if on the monthly payment system. If you pay up front, you need to pay the difference in one lump sum.
