*prepares to dazzle* My name is Jade and I'm a 16-year-old female from Yorkshire, England. I don't own my own horse, so I tend to spend that time online with "fake" horses - which I normally get attached to Even though I don't own a horse, I do have two dogs (Jack Russell [3y/o] and Staffordshire Bull Terrier [6 y/o]) and a cat [8 y/o]. I spend my spare weekend time at my local riding stables and help out from 8am - 4pm, as well as taking riding lesson(s) between. I learn a lot there and it's never a dull day Anywhooo. As for being online, I spend the majority of it with my "fake" horses in sim games. I've been involved in a wide-range of sims and have had experiences out of each one. I tend to focus on racing here in BITS because I want to do something different than my all-warmblood stock. However, if I did racing, I'd probably do eventers too; so that my racers could retire to eventing. I'm open for persuasion though; in breeds or disciplines ;D So yeah, that's about it. I guess I failed to dazzle, but ah well I'm glad to have been accepted into BITS and can't wait to get stuck in and get to know you all!

Hey Jade! I'm Rainbow, one of the admins here in the game.
I'm from the States, but I'm currently studying abroad in England -- I'm living in Telford (east of Shrewsbury, northwest of Birmingham -- not the loveliest of towns, but I'm seeing as much of the country as I can and fulfilling a lifelong dream in being here). =)
In BITS, I own Wildwind Equestrian Centre, which focuses on hunters, jumpers, and dressage. Flatracing and eventing are definitely big here -- but are you sure I couldn't convince you to go with warmbloods and do hunters and/or jumpers and/or dressage? Lol. Go with what you want, and as we've got just about everything, you'll fit right in!
In real life, I rode mostly dressage in the States on a lovely Thoroughbred gelding, Xavier. Unfortunately he's not mine, I just half-leased him. Someday I'll have a horse of my own, but like you, I just stick to spending all my spare time at my lovely barn and learning all sorts of things (riding, life lessons) from my amazing trainer. Here in the UK, I'm learning about showjumping on an Irish Cob gelding, Finn. He's brilliant and I plan to take him back in my suitcase. =)
I'm pretty sure we're all pretty attached to our sim horses -- I am, I know that -- so you've got nothing to worry about there.
Anyways, welcome! I'm looking forward to see what you bring into the game. =)

Hehe thanks Rainbow! I can't say I've ever been to that part of the country, but it's great to hear you're fulfilling your dream. I hope to do that by going out of the country at some point... haha. I've been to Spain and Malta, that's it. And I'm thinking of going with warmbloods, although I've come off the idea of eventing. I may get into H/J actually. Still unsure though Thanks for the welcome

Haha. The Shropshire countryside is beautiful, but Birmingham's none too exciting unless you like shopping. And yeah, it's been a lifelong dream of mine to live in the UK... I leave in June, but I will DEFINITELY be back, and sooner rather than later. Prior to coming here, I'd only been to the US and Canada lol. Lots of British people go to islands like Malta and Cyprus and Fuerteventura and things, which are places that my family (or most other American families) would never think of going on holiday -- kind of funny.
H/J is good! Elise is doing a big H/J show series at the moment.

Haha yeah. Malta wasn't much of a holiday actually. It was my brother's holiday, but we had to fly over there because he's an irresponsible so-and-so and he was on death's door, literally. We were actually planning to go to Cyprus this summer, but I don't think that's going to happen any time soon. I don't understand why so many Americans want to come to England. I hate it. But then again everyone seems to hate where they live, lol. And I'll have to check that out

Hey Jade, welcome to Bits! I think I know you, but I'm unsure from where Dang mental block! Anyways, Rainbow already half introduced me as running a large hunter and jumper show right now, that's what my stable focuses on (so you should definitely get at least a couple h/j's!) Erm, in real life I compete through Pony Club in Show Jumping and Eventing, but we've mainly done Dressage in the past. I'm just finishing up my first year of college and I'm a photography major. I can't wait to see what horses you bring in XD If you're looking for eventers, let me know, I have some nice ones that are looking for new homes (and they'll be cheap!)

Hey Jade, welcome to BITS!
You'll have a great time here I'm sure. I'm Kate and I own Rising Star Farm. At first it was a farm strictly dedicated to Thoroughbreds, but now I have a bunch of warmbloods and quarter horses as well. Anyway, we're a boarding barn, so come on in and check us out if you want, if not, we'll see you at the track!

You're not good with peer pressure, are you? We have decent boarding plans at Equus Me, too, if you want. And multiple horse discounts. Helps you save money to build a decent barn. If you want to build a decent barn, you need at least two good racehorses to make a decent income. Now I must go enter Elise's racehorses since I said something... haha.

Lol yes -- I don't understand why so many of you Brits want to go to America! There are SOME exciting things, but most of it's actually not all that thrilling. There are also lots of awful things about it as well.
