Hey ya'll, I'm back after about a nine month hiatus from the BITS world and thought it was appropriate to introduce myself for those who do not know me. I'm Ashley. I live in Michigan and am a post-bachelor education student and a student professor at Western Michigan University. I work for two horse trainers in Kalamazoo and am finishing a 5 year old paint gelding named Sonny [Sonny Go Style]. I've been riding for 13 years and have ridden everything from jumpers to western pleasure - my real love is hunter under saddle. I graduated with a BA and an Equine Science degree from the University of Findlay in Ohio. One day when I am a licensed teacher (and all grown up maybe!) I plan to teach middle school Language Arts by day and train and show horses by night. In BITS I specialize in Quarter Horses and Paints in both english and western events. So far my herd is filled with Paints! ;D I plan to re-open my private stable, Crawford Performance Horses, as soon as I get the website finished and be an active participant in the BSBR and the BSBA once again. I'm constantly online and check my email more than anything. If you need to get a hold of me, ya know how! lol

Welcome back Ashley! Sounds like you've been a busy, busy person, I'm glad that you're back!
My best friend is going to be a sophomore at Western this coming fall, what are you teaching there? Maybe you'll get her as a student, that'd be crazy!

LOL - small world. I will be teaching a section of ENGL1000. If she's a sophomore I doubt I'll have her as most of my students are freshmen. But maybe I'll see her wandering around Sprau Tower past my office. hehe
