Hey everyone! I am obviously new here, and will try to introduce myself to the best of my ability. I am 18 years old and have been riding for about 10-11ish. It has been my life, my love and my passion from the first moment my bum was in the saddle. I first started riding in Virginia, and then moved to Florida where i did most of my riding, and showing. I also taught some riding lessons for one of my trainers as well as helped him train green horses that were usually sale horses. While training i also did summer camps(which is the craziest thing in the world to do, so anyone that does them successfully i highly admire you). I have learned over the years that riding is more than just being on the horse. It takes more than just pretty equitation and a fancy horse to be a true "horse person". I hope that i can be considered a good horsewoman. I know i still have more to learn, and any time i have the chance too i am always eager(i sometimes drive the vet we used insane haha). At the moment i havent been able to ride(or form paragraphs apparently) since i am away at college in Wisconsin, and the closest place for me to ride is 30 minutes, and i dont have a car. So as you can guess i am dieing to have alfalfa in my hair, dirt all over my clothes, and be smelling of horse. I'm hoping that next year(my sophomore year) i'll be able to have a car and be able to atleast take lessons or get a job at a barn. As for my riding "specialties" i am an equitation rider to the bone. I was a good enough riding to do all the big circuits and compete in the McClay and such, but anxiety and "stage firght" got the best of me as well as a slave driving trainer(before i left for college about 2-3 years i was at a differnt barn and got away from that trainer, and my equitation got better without her screaming at me constantly. My new trainer is a well known Jumper from Brasil that doesnt know much about eq so he kinda let me do my own thing). I sometimes wish i could get my big Warmblood thing and go and compete in all the eq. classes but out of state tuition and a warmblood are polar opposites.
I'm hoping that sums me up in a "horsey" sense. Out of the Horse world, i am an artist. I do alot of painting, photography and abstract work. I'm majoring in Art History currently at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
I'm just so excited to get started playing.
Peace and love

Hey meg! Great to have an enthusiastic new member to BITS. I'm also known as Jen and I own Diamond Elite Farms. I love stockbreeds in RL and have a bunch of them in BITS along with several TB's. I'm excited to get to know you and your horses as we all are with every new member! Be sure to introduce your new herd once you've created them. Oh and pictures are always well received around here.
Everyone in BITS is extremely friendly and we are all more than willing to help out new members. If you need anything just ask and join in the many conversations.
WELCOME!! ;D

Hey Meg! Welcome to BITS. I'm Rainbow, one of the admins here in the game. In RL, I half-lease an APpendix QH gelding named Murray. =) He's a completely sweetie and such fun to ride. I am a dressage rider, but I love to jump for fun. I've also ridden both saddleseat and western - both for extremely brief periods. There's a pic of me and Murray somewhere on the boards. Hmm... what else? In the game, I own Wildwind Equestrian Centre, home of BITS' finest TBs, WBs, and (only) Dales Ponies. We specialise in dressage, hunters, and stadium jumping.
Outside of horses, my life consists mostly of school, Model UN, and youth group. I also read obsessively about anything and everything. I love history and foreign languages (I'm currently studying German and Latin and have taken 2 1/2 years of French, which I've now forgotten...). I also knit and sew. That's pretty much it.
I'm off to finish homework now. I can't wait to get to know you and your horses better!

Hey, Meg! Welcome! My name is Gwen and I am a BITS admin and freshman at IU Bloomington. My horse is 4 hours away and I haven't seen her in 3 months :*( I miss her and my paint colt, too. She's preggers, so I will have another one to deal with next year.
So, yeah... I feel your pain of missing your horse!
What are you specializing in? I am specializing in paints primarily and hunters/halter horses. I own Show Me Halter and Performance Horses the BITS Stud Book, and the BITS Stock Breed Registry.

Hey Meg, welcome to BITS -- I'm pretty new as well, but everyone is definatly super friendly, and the game's been awesome so far.
Anyways, I'm Christie, and I can feel you pain at least a little bit about the college-slash-horse problem. Luckily, my parents let me bring my horse down with me this semester. Then again, I'm not paying out of state tuition -- if I was, it'd probably be a different story.
Welcome to BITS!
.Christie.

Hey Meg! ^_^ My name is Evanthe and I don't go college at the momment. However, I'm going to a little dental assisting school. Like you, I'm an artist. However, I lack the money to get supplies and the stuff that I need to paint and sculpt. However, I do release myself in pencil drawings. As soon as I figure out my scanner, maybe I could show you and everyone else on BITS what I can do. I'm mostly into fantasy and abstract art. As far as horses go, I've been riding since grade school. I don't own my own horse though, but I did lease a standardbred for 4-H one year. I hope to own my own horse someday.
In the game I mostly concentrate on draft horses and draft horse crosses. I do have a bunch of other breeds including 2 German Warmbloods, 2 Knabstruppers, 3 paint horses, 1 mammoth dokey, 1 andalusion and many more. I own White Lotus Farm and White Lotus Feed and Supply. As far as disciplanes go in the game, I'm all over the board, lol. Can't wait to meet the horses you bring into the game and I can't wait to get to know you better.

oh thank you for all the nice comments. I am unfortunately horse-less at the moment. This was my old horse before i sold him to a very nice barn in Connecticut(where i hear he is kickin' major butt so props to him): (please ignore the AWFUL equitation. all of the pics are old and i have Improved A LOT since these. haha) (pretty big stride for 15.3 huh? he's a TB Irish Warmblood Cross. he was supposed to be the eventing champion of the world but he got to 15.3 and stopped growing...so they said "make him a hunter and sell him. and thats how i got him! his parents were amazing and huge...they said it was some weird DNA thing that he must have had some small relative a long time ago that finally caught up and made him tiny. but that little horse can jump! he's a cute mover too.) this was my first horse ever; Danny. He was awesome. 20 years old and could still buck my ass off. (he also didnt mind throwing me into the jump when i jumped up his neck...he taught me a few lessons) I only have one picture of my 2nd horse Emmie. She passed away and i didnt get to take many pictures of her unfortunately so i'll describe me beautiful mare. She was about 16.2ish. Black/brown which in differnt lighting she was differnt colours. And a star that looked like a diamond. She was ALLL legs as an off the track Thoroughbred. She jumped AMAZINGLY and was a fun ride. this is her looking kinda fuzzy: and lets not forget the pony i helped train. Buster. He was a little paint devil. He was fun to ride but not to make work. He like to play alot. and when he was misbehaving we put pink polo wraps on him. lol. i know i look huge on him but if you were small and light he had a tendency to run out from underneath you. i just wrapped my legs and held on. oh man did i have fun with him! Those are from way back when. I dont have any decent photos from not so way back when. I have some pics of the horse i leased(i also despised him as well, thats a long story for another time though). If you want to see the funny little QH horse i leased lemme know, he's cute to look at but not to ride/play with. The bugger bites. Sorry thats alot of pictures but someone had asked to see me riding, and i couldnt just choose one. lol. And once again i appologize for the horrendus equitation in all the pictures. and the funny faces i make when i ride. I look back and laugh at myself...for the bad eq and faces. haha. peace

Beautiful animals. Your lucky to have been able to ride so many. I especially like the TB Warmblood cross. He's an adorable little guy. The paint pont is cute too, first glance says he was overo, second glance says tobiano...so I assume(with my lack of pattern differencial) that he is a tovero? Some one correct me if I'm wrong.

Haha, cute pics! (And don't worry about bad positions - somehow, photographs always manage to capture the truly horrendous moments along with the rare nice one lol. I hate looking at pics of my riding from even a year ago because my position was fairly bad lol.)
And I love the pony. So cute!

I love all those pics, especially the tobi and the pally! It seems like you have traveled a lot of miles in the saddle with a lot of different, challanging horses. Kudos to you!
