Hey there! Im Elise and Im new to BITS, as you can tell! Let's see... I don't know how much you want to hear, but here's a little about me. Im 16 years old, and I have been riding since I was 6. I joined 4H a year later, and have been active in it ever since. I started out riding English, hunt-seat style on an old Arabian mare, Anna. She was the best. From there I bought my first horse, a Polish Arabian gelding, Comet's Joker Joe, my first true love. We did everything, from jumping and huntseat to trail riding. I moved to a local barn where Joker underwent "boot camp" and learned natural horsemanship and dressage. There I fell in love with Dressage, and a couple years later, decided that I needed a new horse. This is Joker, my buddy: Two years ago, almost exactly, we bought my Latvian Warmblood gelding, Atlas. Atlas was seven years old, now nine, and did eventing and dressage. I think he is the best thing that could have happened to me. He is the sweetest horse ever, and he is my best friend. We do first level dressage, natural horsemanship, and about 2'9" jumping. We show mainly through 4H because I don't have a trailer and it's close so we can easily bum rides=) Atlas loves bananas and swimming, and we show on our high school equestrian team. This is Atlas, looking all hairy and like a wooly mammoth. You can't see it very well, but his hair on his legs is.... hmm... about 3' long right now... it's INSANE! He didn't get a blanket this year after he shredded four last winter... Besides horses, (which doesn't leave much time), I love to act and tap dance with my HS drama, ski and play softball. I love photography and graphic design. So yeah... I hope you enjoyed reading my mini novel... if you have any questions, ask away... I love to talk! - Elise

Hey! (OMG, I'm not the last one! ;D) I'm Nicole and in real life have a Grade QH mare, whose name is Peanut. She's great, but she's very independent and a little ruff-and-tuff pony. This year I'm gonna try to do 4-H, since I now have a horse to do it with and go to open-shows with her once she slims down just a little I own Maple Ridge Stables, which will soon be open for boarding, I just need to get my "plans" together and send Maya the form At MRS, I specialize in Eventing, dressage, jumping, and hunter horses, which are of Thoroughbreds, Arabians, and TB X Arab crosses, or Anglo-Arabs and will soon also be having a Rocky Mountain ranch/all around horses too. What are you going to specialize in??? Anyways that me, so HI AGAIN! lol.

Hi, welcome to BITS! I'm Dana, owner of Horizon Equestrian Center (click my banner if you'd like to visit), the BITS Sport Horse Association, and the opening-soon Eventing Essentials tack shop In BITS, I specialize in eventing with a few other sport horses. In RL, I own a thoroughbred gelding and we compete in eventing And I'm also in 4-H! Have you decided on the horses you'll be bringing in, if any? Can't wait to meet them! And you are so lucky that your school has an equestrian team! That's awesome!

Hey Elise! Welcome to BITS. I'm with Maya - I love your avatar! (Except there is no iGinny. That makes me sad.) And I'm also with Maya - I'm another of the admins. In the game, I own Wildwind Equestrian Centre. We specialise in dressage, hunters, and stadium jumping, with mainly Thoroughbreds, Warmbloods, and Dales Ponies. However, we welcome all English disciplines and all breeds. =) I will eventually also own the BITS Hunter/Jumper Association - when I get my butt in gear and get it put together, that is. In real life, I too am a dressage rider. I do a bit of hunters on the side as well. I don't own my own horse, but I do half-lease a lovely 16y/o Appendix Quarter Horse gelding, Murray. Murray is a massive couch of a horse who I love to death (he was extra-amazing last night, too)... My trainer did Third Level on him and took him to hunter nationals on the west coast, but he's retired from showing now. He's just teaching me to use my leg properly, mostly. And your horses are pretty! I love the Latvian WB. His star looks like a seahorse head to me (except without the nose). Holy crap, I'm rambling. Anyways, the point of this was to say welcome to BITS, and hopefully you enjoy it! =)

Wow! You guys are really fast at replying to anything, first my application, now with all your replies! This is a great game so far=}
Hehe... thanks about the av! I found it on the internet... I have way too many of them. I think the last time I counted I had over 100... lol. It's an addiction that can't be stopped!
Maya, oh my goodness... Peter is soooo adorable! All your horses are acctually! So cute!!!!!
Let's see... breeds are hard=P I usually end up having a bunch of breeds. Warmbloods are my focus though. Dutch, Danish, Swedish, and Latvian Warmbloods, and Hanoverians are what Ive mainly bred. I usually have a handful of pleasure horses, as well as some Thoroughbreds, Arabians and other breeds.
Nicole... you'll like 4H. I know I have at least. It's so fun!!! Annnd... it looks really good on college applications when you start doing those =)
Anyways, Im rambling on too. Thanks again for being so welcoming!! - Elise

Haha, they're so quick at replying, it always makes me feel late Anywho, I'm Christie! Here in BITS, I have mostly Irish Sport Horses, with some TBs mixed in, and mostly compete in eventing. As for real life, it's fairly similar, though unfortunately no Irish horses haha; just my lovely TB gelding Joe. I just finished up at a clinic earlier today, so I should hopefully be posting some more pictures of him soon ;D Both your ponies are gorgeous, I love Atlas. That's awesome that your high school has an equestrian team -- it just seems like a really fun way to be invovled in h.s., and of course getting to ride at the same time haha! Anyways, glad to have you in BITS! .Christie.

Hey, Elise! I am sorry to be late to replying. I am the final admin on here. I own two paints in RL - a 16 Palomino Paint and a now yearling foal out of her who is a sorrel tobiano. In the game, I own Show Me Halter and Performance Horses, which is a barn dedicated to stock breeds and a select few thoroughbreds. Your horses are absolutely gorgeous. And I agree, you are so lucky! I wish my high school had had an equestrian team, but I assume it would have been a lot like our 4-H, which was probably the worst thing I ever did. I am sure that your 4-H is much improved over what ours was. The people in ours are just plain rude and mean Long story short, I quit that. I am glad that yours is great though, because 4-H would be totally fun with nice people, as I can imagine. Warmbloods are very popular in here, so you should fit right in! Welcome to BITS! I think you'll have a great time. The people are great. Now, I think I am going to go eat and fall asleep because I went out to see my horse today and just had wisdom teeth surgery. In short, I am tired

Elise, you're going to fit right in here. We all ramble quite frequently, not to mention that our discussions usually get ridiculously off topic. =P I'm definitely excited about seeing your warmbloods (I assume you're bringing in WBs, since that seems to be what you like) and competing against them as well.
And how did I miss that your HS has an equestrian team? Not. Fair. That's gotta be pretty awesome...

Hehehe.... HS Equestrian Team. *sigh* It's really been fun so far. A neighboring town had one, and my little town, pop. 3500, class of '08 is like 90, but anyways... last year we were like... hmm... let's start an Equestrian team. We got 7 people=} Its funny because Petoskey, the neighboring school, has like 25 or 20 people and are always fighting over slots. Because you can only have 3-4 people per class, and a certain number of team slots depending on the size of your team. But ours is nice and small =D We get like 7 slots each I think. But then again, Im the only one who does English, Jumping and Saddle Seat. This year, we had 7 at the start, but then one girl quit, another's horse got fungus, (hehe, fungus face lol), and another girl couldn't show until the last meet (out of three). And the rest are speed!! Gah... but whatever... it's fun. We're no competition to the rest of the teams... pah! lol... I think we got like 100 odd points when the highest one got like... 350? I think we got like 6th place out of 8 teams=D

Hehe, Tiffany, that's one of the first things I noticed about him. Sad huh? Lol... well comparing little Joker, the first one, who got his tail chewed off and his mane mangled by our Belgians, I noticed Atlas's forelock, tail and star first =)
Thanks so much you guys for all the replies! Goodness, its so awesome to have such friendly people!

I too posted 'fore you got your piccy's up, I LOVE THEM. Both of them or GEORGOUS. I love how your Warmblood looks soooo fuzzy and huggelyhuggable!(Is that even a word?) As Rainbow said, we get so hopelessly off-topic that we get off topic about what we were off topic about in the first place, lol, that made NO sence. ;D ANYWAAAAAYS....! This is probably the best horse-sim I've ever been in, and I'm sure you will think likewys (I'm forgetting how to speeeelllll.....! fooo)

Hey, sorry I'm so late.
Anyway, I'm Casey, and I am SO glad we will be getting more warmbloods, because that is what I'm focusing on here. In the jumper/dressage/possibly eventing divisions. I own Cherry Tree Farms at Two Keys Ranch.
I love your horses! They are SO cute!
In real life, I ride hunter/jumper/eq and have a paint pony named Keeper. There are pics around here somewhere if you really want to see him.
