Hey everyone I'm Krystal , and I'm new to BITS. I use to play SIM games years ago but I stopped playing for ages. And now I've started playing again, I just couldn't stay away lol. Well some info on me. I'm 20yrs old, and I'm an apprentice mechanic. I know not the most exciting career, but I absoloutely love it . I love going to drag races and the v8 super cars. My fav cars are muscle cars, ya just gotta love em' lol. The car I would give anything for is a 67' shelby mustang. Other than cars I love heading down to the thoroughbred races. As you can see I'm really just a racing nut . Currently I own no pets, but I'm contemplating geting my reptile licence and getting a snake. But if I get a snake, my mum won't come see me. Maybe thats a blessing in disguise lol. I think that's enough about me. Now for my plans in BITS. I would love to have a racing herd, mixed with thoroughbreds, quarters and arabs. But is racing big in BITS? Other wise my other fav discipline is eventing. If I went down that way I would most likely be looking at hungarian warmbloods and dutch warmbloods. I'm not sure though. I think I may just see what happens.

Hey Krystal I'm Rachael. I also absoloutely love muscle cars, I'm not into the cute little cars most girls want. I want a car with alot of horse power lol. And when I was younger, my dad use to take me down to the v8 super cars. Are you a holden or ford supporter. I'm holden all the way lol. In BITS my main focus is swedish warmbloods and thoroughbreds. I look forward to seeing what horses you have

Welcome! Racing is growing here in BITS, with bi-monthly racemeets and such We're even starting up a steeplechase registry as well, if that's something you're interested in. In BITS, I own Horizon Equestrian Center and some other establishments all listed in my signature. HEC specializes in eventing, glad to see another eventer coming to BITS! In RL, I own a thoroughbred and we compete in eventing

Racing is certainly a growing industry... but I think just TB's, not QH's or Arabs. Welcome to BITS! My name is Gwen and I am an admin on the boards. In RL, I am a freshman at IU Bloomington and own two lovely paints In SL, I am stockbreed owner with the occasional sport or racing thoroughbred. I own the BITS Stock Breed Registry, BITS Breeders Trust and Show Me Halter and Performance Horses.

Haha, yes! Another muscle car fan! I'm Maya, another of the admins You can read more about me in my intro post, if you'd like.. I don't want to ramble on here. Yeah, racing is getting bigger and bigger, the only thing holding us back is lack of entrants >.< So if you bring in a bunch of TBs, I'd love you forever I'm an eventer in RL, and the majority of my horses in BITS are eventers, as well... So I'd love to see more eventers, too

Ahh! More fans of good old american muscle. They don't make cars like the old mustangs anymore. Heh, I used to drive a '72 as my very first car last year. Unfortunately, the transmission went, thanks to my own hard driving and torture, and, I traded in for a 93 Tauras LS. lol. Which, is, unfortunately, also starting to feel the wear of my hard driving, and needs a new transmission... Or, I need a new car. lol Personally, I think I'll trade in for another Mustang. lol. But maybe a GTO... Or a Fairlane... Or a Thunderbird. I'm thinking classic again, and having my buddy Ross sup 'er up real nice. Sorry, I rambled. Long story short, I'm Kimberly, and I'd like to welcome you to bits. Besides being a classic admirer of Classics and American muscle, I also own a nice grulla AQHA mare that I'm fitting up for pleasure, maybe some halter classes. And I'm thinking either Equine Management or Vet Tech for school... I have till January to decide, so, no rush. I concentrate on Thoroughbred racers, and pleasure/halter-type stock horses here in BITS. It'll be nice to have more racers here in BITS. It really is starting to get big. And the more competition my babies have, the better.
Thanks, Kim

lol, I don't think it's your driving that killed the Taurus's transmission >.< I've got one of those (a '96), and we've had to replace the transmission 4 times in 5 years... we've also had the engine rebuilt twice and replaced once, and have had the fuel lines break 3 times. They're just crappy cars that way. But, on the positive side, you can be T boned by a mack truck going 80km/h and walk away unharmed (trust me, it happened to one of my dad's clients >.< She was in her 60's, too.), and the body lasts forever. My bf had an '87 mustang for a while, but it blew 2 cylinders and the brakes ceased to function... it was a sad day

My poor Taurus though... I love the car, I'll hate to have to kill it. So, I'll etch out it's existance a little longer, and delve for the new TM. lol. They are built like tanks. My last one was a '92. And I was in an accident where I was driven off the road onto a concrete curb going 50. The bottom of the car died (had previous welding work done on her before I got her that failed to hold up...), and she had to be scraped. But, if it would have been almost any other car, of a flimbsier make, I would have been killed. But, seriously, Fords and Mercurys are notorious for their transmissions ('specially in their cars built 95+) going after 70,000 miles. This LS only has 47,000 on it. lol. That's why I'm convinced it's gotta be me. lol This Taurus is the youngest car anyone in my family's ever had. Before this, they've all been older than 80's. The old LaSabres, a nice old Gold Catty, one of the first Monte Carlos, an old Desota, Wildcats, ancient Mustangs, etc... I feel so out of the loop. lol.

haha, my taurus had less than 50k on it when the transmission exploded the first time >.< But then, I don't know how it had been driven before we got it.

I'm late, lol.
My name is Evanthe and there is only one kind of car for me. A Dodge Viper(any year, any model). I'm weird like that. Anywho, I own White Lotus Farm as well as the WLF Feed & Supply and the Hydro Therapy Clinic. I'm all about draft horses but I own other breeds as well and so do my boarders. I'm the one to thank for the steeplechasing Registry. The website will be up and I'll be ready for forms within today. There are no races until March though. It's a rula that there are no 'chases in January and February, with a light summer schedule.
Anywho, In RL I'm a certified Dental Assistant looking desperately for a job in Northern Indiana. It's not going over too well. There has to be an opening somewhere up here for me though. Sooner or later, they will bend after my consistant bothering, lol. I don't have a horse of my own, but that is a goal of mine that I will never let die ^_^. I love love love draft horses(if you can't tell) and I want a ridden one so bad. They are the most gentle and patient horses you can find. My grandma is freinds with a LARGE group of amish folk and they had HUGE belgian drafts in the 4th of July parade in our small town one year and they brought them over to my grandma's house(in ther driver's trailer, cause they can't have one, they're amish) and the big ol' stallion they had had some how turned himself around in the trailer and walked straight out to graze on the grass near the cornfield next to my grandma's driveway. He didn't move an inch and I pushed and pulled on him, trying to get him back in the trailer. He just stood and tolerated me, lol. Half hour later the amish come walking around the corner from the backyard and just burst into laughter when they see me putting all my weight in trying to tug him by the halter to get him in. I was seriously leaning into it(this stallion was HUGE, easily over 18hh). They were able to take him by the halter and move him without even asking. I was so jealous, lol. They are awsome people though.
Oops, I rambled....
Hi I'm Evanthe, lol ^_^

I'm definitely completely lost on the cars discussion. I like looking at old Mustangs... but know nothing about them - that's my dad's area of expertise. Anyways, welcome to the game! I'm Rainbow, the final admin. =) In the game, I own Wildwind Equestrian Centre, home of Thoroughbreds, Warmbloods, and Dales Ponies for dressage, hunters, and stadium jumping. In real life, I ride dressage on a nearly-17y/o Appendix QH gelding named Murray. I have a couple of racers in training with Maya, so it'll be very exciting to see more competition!
Can't wait to get to know you and your horses better. =) Again, welcome!

Hey, I'm Casey, and welcome to BITS! In RL, I have a grulla paint pony named Keeper, and I sometimes ride him, as I've grown out of him.
In BITS, I own Cherry Tree Farms, and focus on warmbloods, mainly Swedish, Belgian, and Hanoverians.

It's great to meet you all . I think I'll definatly be having alot of thoroughbred racers here, since racing is big. So look out cause more competition is moving in lol . Rachael - You like the super cars too, that's awesome. I'm a total holden supporter, although my fav car is a ford mustang lol. I just don't like todays fords. It's great to see other girls that are into muscle cars. All my girlfriends can't stand cars and can't believe I'm a mechanic. Kimberly I've blown the transmission on cars before too. I actually blew the motor of my friends car once. He done all this work on this v6, and he said to me this car will run better than any v8. We took it to the drag strip, done a drag and the I blew it's motor lol. To much power was under the hood nothing else could keep up. I had to buy him a new motor of course lol. I must say the best thing about older cars is there tackiness. You can be in an accident and pretty much walk away undamaged. I feel so much safer in old cars.
