Hey I'm new here I just joined. My name in BITS is AJ. In real life I have been riding since I was 7 or 8 years old. I recently got my first horse after leasing one for two years. He is a 7 year old Paint Gelding. I boguht him in July 2006. He has been doing grat in training, I am training him to be a hunter horse. He was just a basic get on and go horse when I got him. Although you couldn't really get on him with out him taking off. I used to have to lunge him 45 mintues just to get on him and he was still weird about it. Now I am riding him in an english saddle and in a big open arena and I don't have to lunge him before getting on, and I can get on with a mounting block! Before he wouldn't go near a mounting block he was terrified of them. I'm so glad how well he has done.
I am also a Junior in highschool and I hope that once I graduate in a year that I can get a full time job at a ranch. I work cleaning stalls 3 days a week, and feed 5 days a week at my boarding barn. I've already decided once I can afford it I want to get a Paint mare that is a complete western horse, I would like to get a bay tobiano and I would breed her to a cremello and see if I could get a cute Buckskin baby that I could work with and train. I hope one day to have my own ranch and have a stallion or two and a few mares to do Paint Horse breeding/training/showing. First I would like to work at a Paint breeding farm first. I am working with my friend/boss with breeding her two Arabian mares. I help her with foal last winter and we got two beautiful fillies.
Well in BITS I'm planning on doing Paints and maybe a few QHs and TBs. But more so Paints. So that's all about me and what I would like to do.
Oh Also my horse is the one in my signiture and avatar. His name is Froggy.

Hey AJ I am Jen and I own Diamond Elite Farms. I focus on stockbreeds and thoroughbreds. Paints are pretty big here so if you are looking for a great horse talk to Gwen on of the admins. I prefer apps and quarters, but I do have quite the load of talented paints that I couldn't turn down from Gwen either lol. Nice to meet you, make sure to intro your horses once you create them. Welcome and I hope you have fun in BITS!

Hey, AJ! It is great to see you! Your plans seem like my barn. We breed paints and have some great QH's and a couple of App's as well as some amazing TB sporthorses I am glad to hear about your boy! He sounds great. In RL, I have two paints as well - a tobi colt and my solid bred palomino mare. I love stock breed and in the game my barn Show Me Halter and Performance Horses pretty much does the whole stock breed thing. Jen and I are pretty excited because I am sure we'd love to see you jump right into the big shows and shake things up In the game, I am an admin and run the Stock Breed Registry and BITS Breeders Trust. I can't wait to see what horses you bring in!

Well I cant draw all that great but I trace then upload on the computer. It's much easier to give one or two books credit then a whole bunch of stables. Besides I like to make my horses marking myself. I always get pictures of them in my head first and then can never find a matching horse picture.

Welcome to BITS, AJ I'm Dana, owner of Horizon Equestrian Center. In the game, I specialize in eventing with some steeplechasing. In real life, I own a Paint/TB cross (he is acctually more like a thoroughbred who just has paint coloring!) with whom I event. So I'd have to agree with you in saying that paints pretty much rule. Why blend in, right?

Drawing one? That's awesome, AJ, I wish I was that creative. I looked at the pic of your horse again and he reminds me of a stallion I know... Maybe Zips Heaven Sent, but I don't know. What is his breeding if you don't mind me asking? It's driving me nuts and I could be crazy, but he looks like a stallion I have seen!

Hey AJ! I'm the final admin here in BITS. Welcome. =) In the game, I own Wildwind Equestrian Centre. I focus mostly on warmbloods, thoroughbreds, and Dales ponies, competing in dressage, jumping, hunters, and a bit of eventing and driving. In real life, I half-lease an Appendix QH gelding, Murray, and I ride dressage. =) Anyways, welcome again and I hope you enjoy it here as much as the rest of us do!

I honestly don't know what Froggy's lines are that is actaully what I am trying to find out. I have been searching to find where he came from so that I could possibly register him in the APHA. My search has started with a brand on his left shoulder that is a J with an arrow under it. I have posted on one site to see if anyone has any information on him. I'd lovet o know where he came from.

Heey, I'm Brimley! Haha, Froggy is absolutely adorable and I dig his name! Gwen he does kind of remind me of a certain stallion too.. and you have me wondering if it's Zips Heaven Sent.. He's got some nice babies out there and well, Frog looks like he could be one.. who knows, haha! But darn he sure is cute! I'm new to BITS too, AJ, and I'm focusing on Quarter Horses and am hoping to bring in some Paints eventually. I was thinking of drawing horses for mine too, for the exact same reasons! I wasn't going to copy or anything, haha.. I have a few horses I would want real pics for but to tell you the truth I'd rather draw or use a computer program to make them. Hope you don't think I'm copying! Well, nice to meet you again! =]

Well, regardless of his lines, he's adorable. I hope you get some more background on him. My old trainer had to do that with her POA because the guy who had her before she bought her beat her and burned her papers. She did a lot of searching, but finally found her info.

I do love my horse. It was funny because he was the complete oppisite from what I was looking for and my trainer said 'well he looks good lets take a look at him' so we went. He was all the things I didn't want. A western horse, sensitive, and a pay tabiano. I swore to my self I would never get a bay tabiano, don't ask me why. I love them now but then I was all about chestnut overos. It was funny beacause all my stuff for Frog is lime green and blue/turquoise. And I wanted to change his name because I didn't like it and my friend talked me out of it she said it was unique and no other horses name would be Froggy, plus because I had all my stuff in green. I'm glad I listened to her I also wanted to ask is there a site for Zips Heaven Sent, If I could I'd like to see his foals and see if any match Frog or are possibly related to him in some way.

Thank Elise Froggy may be younger the lady said she wasn't sure how old he was. She just said somewhere around 6 or 7 he could be younger but I don't think he is.

Sorry this is such a late welcome; I've just recently returned from hiatus, but I hate looking around the board and not knowing people, so I still wanted to go ahead & introduce myself I'll keep it short though, as I really don't have all that much interesting to say haha; I'm Christie, owner of Simple Charms, and I focus mostly on eventing with Irish horses here in BITS. I nearly bought a paint awhile ago, though he ended up not exactly passing the vet check with flying colors, so I wasn't able to. Your's is too cute though, I love his coloring! Welcome to BITS!
