Okay, seeing how the gelding incentive is up now, I have been thinking about gelding some of my many stallions. I have too many and probably only a few will ever be bred. I have a few questions thoug before I make the final selection...
Can I keep some frozen/chilled semen in tubes or whatever just in case I do decide later that I wouldn't mind a foal? I know that if I want racers I need to keep them for live coverage. What about if I want a TB foalie not for racing, say for like H/J instead? Still needs to be live coverage?
I think this is going to be a great way to 1.) make some good money because looking through my horses, I have too many stallions and 2.) put a more realistic feel on the game because there aren't that many geldings lol.

Yes, you can keep straws of semen. If you want the foal to be eligible for TB registration, it has to be live cover. The discipline does not matter. Any TB foal born by any means other than live cover will be registered as 'Grade Thoroughbred'.

You mean even for MHR registration? Yeah, the MHR follows real life guidelines at all times

*sigh* Okay. Grade just doesn't sound as nice. That's stupid though because Atlas is for sure a grade=} And I still love him hehe.
