I am still struggling with FTP lol. I am completele re-doing my stable website and getting away from freewebs all together. I have been able to get my index.html up so when you enter the site url it shows up. Now I am trying to get a page to show up in a new directory under the same site. I have created the directory specifically for my DEF stable site(/diamondelitefarms) and have uploaded the homepage through WISE FTP into the correctly created directory and it is titled defhome.html When I enter the url with the .com/diamondelitefarms it doesn't some up and I get an:
Error 403 - Forbidden You tried to access a document for which you don't have privileges.
at the top of the page. I know I am missing something but I am getting frustrated with this stupid thing lol. Any ideas anyone?

The problem was that browsers are programmed to look for certain file names as home pages when a file name isn't specified... defhome.html would not show up, but if you changed it to, say home.html it would work just fine if you didn't include the file name.
